Medical:-

The school has its own Doctor and Pharmacist to render primary treatment with a dispensary and sick beds. Any expenses on this account will be borne by the guardians / parents of the ailing students. In emergent and acute cases, the ailing students are treated in the Capital, Hospital Bhubaneswar/ SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.

Computer Lab:-

Two,  well equipped computer labs consists of  68 numbers of  computers with high speed internet. We are providing the subjects  INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-402 , ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-843 & COMPUTER SCIENCE 083 offered by CBSE . Except these from Clas-VI to Class XII computer is a compulsory subject for all students.  Students can also use the laborotaries  for project work . 

N.C.C:-

The NCC (National cadet corps) is the Indian Military Cadet Corps with its headquarters at New Delhi. It is meant to school and college students on voluntary basic all over India. The Indian Armed Forces youth wing, the NCC tri-services Organization comprising the Army, Navy and Air wing committed to educating the country's youngsters to be disciplined and become patriotic citizens. The main aim of NCC is to create an organized, trained and motivated youth. The final decision for selection of "Unity and Discipline” as motto for the NCC was taken in the 12th CAC meeting held on 12 October 1980. A certificate is awarded to JD cadets of schools after the camp completion of 2 years NCC training course. 
The NCC troupe that earned numerous facets is the "cherry on the top" of our school. Our school had participated NCC on 2012-2013. There are 50 candidates from class VIII and IX who are the part this prestigious troupe that comes under unit 1 Odisha R & V SQN NCC, headquartered in Cuttack. On successful completion of the course the children get the NCC "A" certificate which helps 5% marks in higher admissions and avail better career opportunity. For army soldier recruitment jobs, NCC cadets get bonus 10 marks. NCC cadets have reservation in many Government jobs, especially in the State and Central police and in paramilitary forces. They have a lot of academic incentives too. They develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship, besides the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen.
A large number of dignitaries, including the President and Prime minister, visit NCC Republic Day Camp on annual event for the NCC cadets held at HQ DG NCC Camp at Delhi cantonment. During this camp inter directorate competitions are conducted which contribute towards the award of prestigious Republic Day Banner. 
NCC day in India is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of November, marking the foundation day of the NCC on November 25, 1948.

SCOUT   :-

"Scouting plays a vital role in fostering confidence and self-esteem among students, while also imparting essential life skills, promoting team building, engaging in outdoor adventure education, and providing enjoyment. It enables them to explore and discover the world beyond the confines of the classroom, contributing to their holistic development.

In our school, the Scout unit operates through three troops: Shivanand Scout Troop,Chidananda Scout Troop, and Krishnananda Scout Troop, catering to students from standard 7 to standard 10. Additionally, at the higher secondary level (for 11th and 12th students), a Rover group functions within our school. Each year, our school's Scouts and Rovers actively participate in camps at all levels, ranging from district to national levels. Their participation not only enriches their experience but also brings accolades to the school through their success in various competitions.

Our Scout troops exhibit great enthusiasm and energy in participating in state-level parades during national celebrations such as Republic Day and Independence Day annually.

Furthermore, recipients of the Governor's and President's Scout Awards can receive preferential treatment in their selection for government services such as railways and PSU (Public Sector Undertakings), as well as in their higher education pursuits.

GAMES & SPORTS      :-

Playing sports and games helps students improve their self-esteem, social skills, and confidence. It also teaches them about time management and discipline. Furthermore, sports can serve as a potential career path or hobby, while also aiding in stress reduction and alleviating depression.

In our school, students are provided with the opportunity to participate in various sports and games, including ball badminton, tennis, modern pentathlon, football, volleyball, taekwondo, kabaddi, table tennis, and athletics, among others. Under the guidance of our Physical Education teacher, Ashok Kumar Routray, students engage in these activities.

Each year, our students participate in competitions starting from the district level up to the national level championships. Notably, in the current year, two of our students excelled at the international level. Manmaya Patnaik, a ninth-grader, represented our school in soft tennis, while Johnson Ziral showcased his talent in taekwondo.

Additionally, our senior and junior tennis and volleyball teams achieved remarkable success by clinching the National Championship Trophy for the year 2024. This prestigious event took place in Ranchi, Chhattisgarh.

Overall, our school's sports program not only encourages physical fitness but also instills valuable life skills and offers opportunities for personal growth and achievement.
